Day 2: There is a cycling God - Muloorina Station Bore to Farina

Distance - 106kms
Climbing - 228 metres

What should have been a tough 6 hours plus in the saddle was less than 5 hours thanks to a strong tail breeze.  Temperatures rose to the mid 30's.  The road was a mixture of sand, corrugations, loose gravel and hard clay. Rode through a dust storm as well.

Todd met us about half way at Marree so we put the trailers on for the first time. Thanks again Todd for flying down from Mt Isa especially to drive us up.

We arrived at Farina a bit after lunch.  It was quite a bustling town in its day, but is now just ruins. It had a good camp ground though, with flushing dunnies and cold showers.

Brian cooked up little boys from a tin with some pasta and tomato sauce - luxurious!

North of Maree, not much going on out here
